Volunteer Opportunities

Many generous donations of both time and treasure over the years have made Rapp Nature Camp possible.  A volunteer Board of Directors advises the Camp Director.  Volunteers, including Virginia Master Naturalists from the Old Rag chapter, serve as visiting instructors at the summer day camps and Perennial Camper events.  We hold volunteer work parties to help prepare camp for the kids, including our participation in the annual Let’s Volunteer Days in April sponsored by the PATH Foundation.  Volunteers donate food and supplies to Camp.  Rapp Nature Camp is a true community effort!

We will host a volunteer day on April 8, 2026 from 3-6 PM at our new camp site at Waterpenny Farm.  Volunteers will help beautify the trails for the Camp season.  If you would like to work outdoors in a beautiful space with fun people while helping Camp, let us know at info@rappnaturecamp.org.
